I'm looking how to restore the the Mach1 filler. I need to remove the rubber in order to get it resotred properly.

Who can guide me how to remove this rubber?



Finally, the interior paint job is done. All parts are painted with a 2-component paint. They look need. I need to say!!!.

Now I can put the interior to the side and start working on the body work. Maybe first finish the upholstery :)

Finalize the parts with some small sandblasting. Just before painting this is really a very good way to get the clear metal.

All parts are sand blasted and painted directly before they got the change to get a rust layer again

Ok after the sandblasting and the metal coat. I can start working on the body. First drill all the holes to remove the inner fenders.

Then start to drill the holes for the floor.

Ready!!!! They called yesterday that I could get the car back. Now just to guess when it's not going to rain. It's not going to be today since it's raining. Tomorrow we'll try again.

After getting her first things first: get the sand out of the car. Got 2 buckets full of sand.
Hmm after checking each hole I think I've found some more!!!!!

All the parts that are not ironized need to be painted asap. So it's sunday let's do it today.



























Only one week of waiting until she's ready. Lets start polishing the chrome. (have to be busy in the meanwhile)

Go Sandblasting

Ready to go for the sandblasting. For now it doesn't really matter it it's wet or not.

Timing needs to be perfect when getting the car back. After sandblasting you should avoid waiting to long and avoid WATER.
