Body work part2
Since the fender flare was not really the same size as the fender we had to cut the body-kit and extend it. when all filled then ad some more 3M 8115 adhesive to it to fill all holes.

Body work part 1
First thing that needs to be done on the body work is make sure it's aligning all. Lets start from front to back ;)
First issues became already quick visible, looks like that the nose section is not really correct. The drivers side and passenger side are not equal. So stripping a little bit the driver side.
Second issue with the nose section was that the fender flare from the passenger side was to low on the front. So that meant reshaping the section a little bit.

Mounting the intake manifold
After unpacking the crate from the engine (or the other way around) we can start with mounting the intake manifold.
When unpacking the gasket it looks like that the small gaskets does not really fit. Looking a little bit on the internet is saying enough. They don't fit, even the edelbrock website is saying to use something else. So then we start.

Feet on the ground
Before I'm able to take the eleanor to the body shop I need to make sure that it's getting on it's wheels and ready to put on a trailer.
All my parts are ready painted or coated, so it's just a matter of putting all the parts together.

Rear taillight panel
The rear taillight panel, I thought would have been an easy job. However....
I had to cut again the taillight out of the body. After doing this it was just a matter of putting the taillight panel in place, NOT......
The taillight panel from MustangsUnlimited did not fit at all, as you can see on the picture, sanding the panel was not easy and it did not tolerate for errors.
So then mailing to Mustangs To Fear for another taillight panel, no problem with fitting this one.
